Enzyme Foot Peel

This enzyme foot peel contains a specific blend of carefully selected ingredients, to provide a soothing and rehydrating foot care treatment.

Aqua; Baycusan C 1004; Dipropylene Glycol; Castor Oil; Xanthan Gum; Softisan; Papaya Extract; Cajeput; Hyaluronic Acid

What benefit does each ingredient have?

Baycusan C 1004 helps protect skin from environmental pollution. It contains both hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments, which impart a unique combination of water resistance and ease of removal from skin, resulting in the ‘peel’.

Dipropylene glycol is used in small amounts to keep products from melting in high heat or from freezing. It also helps active ingredients penetrate skin.

Castor Oil helps to restore the skin's natural moisture balance.

Xanthan Gum is a natural skincare ingredient, used to keep products from separating, it is FDA approved.

Softisan is a non-animal derived, semi solid lanolin substitute.  It has a high-water binding capacity and is 3 times more moisturising than lanolin.

Papaya Extract contains papain, an enzyme that helps remove impurities by gentle exfoliation. This in turn, helps in rehydration of dry and flaky skin.  Papaya is naturally high in vitamins including Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Iron and Magnesium.

Cajeput is similar to tea tree oil. It contains natural anti-fungal and bactericidal properties.

Hyaluronic Acid (from plum extract) keeps skin supple and hydrated. It contains a powerful moisture binding ingredient that allows the skin to retain moisture. It increases collagen synthesis. Safe for use on those with diabetes.

Recommendations for use (enzyme peel)

For best results, gently use an emery board or foot file to any dry areas of your skin first i.e. around heel areas/ ball of your foot and wipe clean. This will remove any surface debris or dead skin, allowing the peel to optimally soften the skin on your feet.

Apply a thin layer the peel to clean, dry feet (approx. 3 to 4 pumps per foot) using your fingertips.

Avoid applying any of the peel in between your toes as this can already be a soft and moist environment.

Leave the peel in situ for 5-10 minutes with your feet up. The peel will feel rather cool to start with.

To remove the peel - Use your fingers or clean towel/flannel to gently press down on the areas where you have applied the mask, moving in circular motions. You will notice the mask coming off along with any dry skin in little clumps.
